  1. Short: *PRELIMINARY* information about the new WPL front end language.

  5.   This language is an attempt to provide an open-access networking
  6. language for configuring front end/point/etc mailers.  It features
  7. multi-threaded, multi-addressed, multi-network support via various
  8. extendable libraries.  Some parts of this language are derivatives of
  9. the old application 'Welmat' and part of the Welmat code is still
  10. contained within an XPR library called 'xprfts.library' already
  11. publicly available.

  13.   This is not a binary, and is intended to give people a bit of
  14. information about what we are doing.  If you are interested, please
  15. contact myself, or join the support conference (Currently we have
  16. taken over the fidonet backbone conference 'WELMAT' since many of the
  17. current beta testers are old Welmat users)
